So I just re-watched “Magnolia” for the first (second?) time in a long time. It got me on a P.T. Anderson youtube kick.
The film really is all out. I think only 10 or 15 minutes of the entire (3hr) film are without a score or any music. But that moment comes right before this montage, which let’s just face it, is awesome. The worst thing about this montage is that now no else can do it again.
